Weald Lodge
Careway's ethos is to provide continuity of care, offering every aspect of care provision. With this in mind we have recently opened a dementia care facility at Weald Lodge, in the grounds of Weald Hall. Weald Lodge comprises just six bedrooms, all with ensuite facilities, together with a superb first floor sitting room to enjoy the wonderful views. There is also a smaller separate sitting room for those who wish to enjoy quiet moments. Specialist trained staff, are on hand to assist and help with individual needs at all times.

Wadhurst is a typical, beautiful English country village, just 7 miles from the spa town of Tunbridge Wells and a fast (1 hour and 5 minutes) journey from London (Charing Cross). The coastal towns of Eastbourne, Hastings, Rye and Brighton are also within striking distance. The area abounds with historic castles, superb gardens and places of interest to visit. With our own beautiful gardens at Weald Hall, the area truly deserves its title "The Garden of England".
Weald Hall is a luxurious and impressive Edwardian house, set in 17 acres overlooking the Sussex Weald, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The gardens at Weald Hall are a particular feature of the home. All rooms at Weald Hall are of generous proportions, some with their own sitting room and all with ensuite facilities. Many have fabulous views of the grounds and surrounding area.
As well as a superb choice of places of visit in the surrounding area, Weald Hall also caters for those who do not wish to venture far. The well stocked library provides a quiet place to read or to enjoy a game of cards with others, the comfortable sitting room gives an opportunity to enjoy congenial company and the veranda overlooking the gardens and Sussex Weald is a tranquil spot during sunny days. In house activities, usually chosen by the residents themselves, include Tai Chi, concerts, bridge and book clubs, computer club, quizzes, and celebrations. Many of our residents have their own particular hobbies and skills and are encouraged to enjoy these wherever possible. Shopping trips to Wadhurst and Tunbridge Wells are also popular.
Weald Hall is a home in every sense of the word, warm and comfortable, where individual wishes are respected and you are encouraged to retain independence of choice, secure in the knowledge that someone is on hand to assist when required.
