How to donate

Careways Trust exists to improve the life opportunities of older people on behalf of our member benevolent funds and others. We endeavour to provide a full range of care, nursing, dementia care, respite, convalescent and palliative care to ensure continuity of such wellbeing and support.

Sarah has no family and was raised in a convent for orphans. She trained to be a teacher and spent all her working years devoted to her profession. She did not marry and now considers us to be her family. We always ensure that she receives as many gifts as our more fortunate residents, at birthdays and Christmas time. Most importantly, we make sure that she receives the affection, love and care that she would normally receive from her own family.

Elspeth was a nursing sister who spent her working life caring for others, both during the war and for many years afterwards. She made a difference to many lives with her professional skills, warmth and encouragement. She now depends on these same skills from our dedicated staff, but her own caring nature never falters. She will always play a part in welcoming new residents and making sure that they feel part of the community.
