Who are we?
Careways Trust mission is to improve the life opportunities of older people on behalf of our member benevolent funds and others. We endeavour to provide a full range of care, nursing, dementia care, respite, convalescent and palliative care to ensure continuity of such wellbeing and support.
Careways Trust is owned by a consortium of benevolent funds with a mission to provide a whole spectrum of care for their elderly beneficiaries. Professional people and their relatives who are affiliated to our member funds take priority when applying to our homes. When vacancies exist, applications from others are welcome.
Our ethos is to provide continuity of care at every chapter of life. With this in mind we offer sheltered accommodation with warden assistance through to residential and nursing care including convalescent, respite, palliative and dementia care. Careways Agency, our wholly owned subsidiary nursing agency provides high quality staff to other homes and also to individual clients requiring support in their own homes.
The wellbeing of our residents and clients is paramount. Each individual is treated with respect for their own unique qualities and preferences, where their wellbeing is the highest priority. Our staff are recruited not only for their professional skills and ability, but also for their disposition and gentleness of character.
As a registered charity, all our resources are utilised for the benefit of our residents. We have no shareholders to satisfy - just those within our care - Truly - Our Dividend is paid in Care….
